Our Work

Selected Projects

Twenty years of work.
A few examples worth showing.

Each project here represents a real problem, a real client, and a solution that actually worked. We're not interested in impressive screenshots that don't perform — everything you see was built to do a job.

YourWeddingLists.com

A three-tiered platform connecting brides, vendors, and wedding planners — each with their own dedicated toolset.

The Situation

The owner already ran a successful event center. She saw a real gap in the wedding industry — no good way for brides, vendors, and wedding planners to find each other, coordinate, or track the details that make a wedding actually work. She came to us with a vision for a platform that could serve all three groups at once, with tools tailored to each.

What We Built

The design and toolsets came together quickly. The harder problem was the architecture: three distinct user types who needed to share some information while keeping other data completely separate — all tied to membership tiers and payment processing, and all of it had to be manageable by a non-technical client.

We solved it. The result is a platform where brides can plan every aspect of their wedding for free, vendors can connect with qualified leads, and planners can manage their full roster in one place.

WarningLights.org

A website that communicates a difficult subject with clarity, credibility, and impact.

The Situation

Ten years ago, Warning Lights came to us wanting to grow from a local presence to a regional one. The ask was precise: design something professional and credible that doesn't minimize the gravity of human trafficking — but doesn't exploit it either.

What We Built

Warning Lights educates communities and schools on how to recognize the signs of human trafficking. We made a deliberate choice to stay away from story-based imagery and lead instead with statistics and fact-based content, using color, type, and animation to communicate the weight of the subject without sensationalizing it.

Ten years later, they came back. The original site had served them well — now they wanted to bring it forward. We rebuilt it from the ground up, keeping the same design philosophy that made the first version work, and applying everything we'd learned in the decade since.

SpotlightBridal.com

An elegant, conversion-focused website — and a client who went from novice to genuinely capable of managing it himself.

The Situation

We've worked with Spotlight Bridal for nearly 15 years. When the owner first came to us, he had a website — it just wasn't doing anything for him. No conversions. No traction. He knew it wasn't working but didn't know why.

What We Built

We built an elegant portfolio-style site that puts the product front and center. To drive conversions, we designed strategic calls-to-action throughout and added heat mapping so we could see exactly where users spent their time and where the contact form was losing them. When the data told us something wasn't working, we fixed it.

We also built out a blog, resource center, and community page to strengthen local SEO — and it worked. Traffic increased by more than 300%, and conversion rates improved significantly.

The biggest technical challenge was the client's existing setup: he'd been using a third-party plugin to feed his entire product catalog into the site, and the weight of it made the site nearly unusable. We removed it, rebuilt the image pipeline with properly optimized local assets, and the performance problem disappeared.
