On Every Plan
The padlock and the https in your address bar, installed for you and renewed automatically.
Your website files and database, backed up every month. We restore the most recent good backup on request at no extra charge.
Server software is kept updated and patched, so the foundation under your site stays current.
If your site goes down, we're notified. WordPress sites also get WP Toolkit for managing installs.
Overview
Most small business sites end up on a budget host picked years ago by someone who has since moved on. Nobody remembers the login, the SSL certificate lapses, and when something breaks there's a support queue in another time zone.
We host your site on a server we manage ourselves. Your certificate renews itself, your files and database are backed up every month, and when the site goes down, we're the ones who get the alert. If you ever leave, you get a complete copy of your site and help moving it.
Start with your domain. We'll check it, then you pick a plan and we send your agreement to sign online.

Questions & Answers
Hosting is the server space your website’s files, database and email live on, plus the connection that serves them to visitors. Managed hosting means someone looks after that server for you: certificates, backups, patching and monitoring.
No. Hosting covers the server. Updating WordPress itself, your theme and plugins, and making content changes is webmastering. Many clients have both.
It isn’t capped for normal use of a business website. Use well beyond that, like storing files unrelated to the site, may need a higher plan, and we’d talk it through with you before changing anything.
Let us know at least 30 days before your term renews. We provide a complete backup of your website files, database and email where included, and reasonable help moving them to a new host.
